5 more days and another delivery

About 3 weeks ago, I got an email from Amy B. She told me that she reads my blog and Jen’s blog and had been reading about the donations I was getting for the raffle prizes. She then said that she had 2 queen size quilt kits with backings and did I think they would make a good donation for the raffles? My response – Ummmmm, YEAH! So she said that she would send them and that she was happy to know that they would be used for a good cause. Well, after the car break in, I still hadn’t gotten the box and I was worried that maybe someone had swiped it from my door step. Amy said that she hadn’t mailed them yet because she had a family emergency, but that she added to the kits and the boxes were on their way.

I got them yesterday. I am absolutely ecstatic with what she sent and the kits are gorgeous!! She says that she is just happy to have it out of her stash!

The dogs could not keep their noses off of everything as I was trying to get pictures so pardon their curiosity!

Amy sent 3 of the kits from Joann's that were crib size. I don't think that I have seen these colors and styles around here!

This is one of the quilt kits. Doesn't this fabric just scream to be used? I had a hard time putting it down!

And the other kit. Jen thinks that this one has her name on it. It is very pretty!

And a few patterns and miscellaneous items.

See??? Nosey dogs!

Amy - Thank you soooo much!!! I can't even begin to explain how touched I am that you went through the trouble of gathering all of this and shipping it to me!!

Now how much do we need to bribe you to stack the raffle? tape our numbers to the bottom? bring you chocolate and fabric? People have been so generous with their donations - it is so great!

I'm with Jen and Jennifer... I love the 2nd kit. The nativity scenes are awesome too.

Wasn't that a wonderful gesture on Amy's part? People can be so kind. Now, just a warning, I'm gonna knock everyone out of the way to get the 2nd kit and I also want the jelly roll diamonds pattern. Hands off, peeps!
