No book reviews tonight. I still haven't written them so they will show up in the next few days.
Instead, I will share some retreat pics. I was thinking about some of the goodies that I had while in Shipshewana. Peanut butter pie and a homemade cinnamon roll with caramel icing. YUMMY! I also had a cinnamon pretzel from JoJo's, but I forgot to take a picture.
My sewing area. I should have gotten up to take a picture of how everything was strewn about. We all had 8' tables to ourselves so there was a lot of room this year!
And my sewing neighbors - Becca and Laurel. I didn't want to interrupt their sewing concentration!
Ruthie brought along a map so that everyone could mark the city where they are from. She also had the Good Witch of Shipshe to help with the pattern swap.
Next time, I will show the goodies that were on display for show and tell!

Were you in the same room as last year for sewing?
Great pics, and Jennifer, we had twice the space. We have twice the space for the next 2 years also.
The peanut butter pie reminds me of the Cincinnati Quilt Show. The retreat looks like a great place to have quilty fun.
I like that witch!!!
I should get an 8' table, and just pull it out when no one is home!! hmmm, thanks for the idea!!
Was the time producive for you, or did you just relax and enjoy the snacks??
(kidding!! I know you were busy playing with your fabrics!!!!)
Sounds like you had a good time. Maybe when the kids are older I can do something like that!
