Stash Report Week 47, 2012

If you are looking for the Modern Designs for Classic Quilts book giveaway, that is in this post.
There is still time to enter!

This week, I started cutting the fabric for my 6th and final Scrap Squad. I also started the strip piecing and sub cutting and pressing. I'd like to get this one done fairly quickly! Here is one set of sub units waiting to be stitched together.

I was asked a week ago to make another wall hanging for a co-worker so I needed a bit of fabric. I have to pick up some ink cartridges to print out another picture and then I can assemble the quilt and get it to my co-worker. It was Small Business Saturday so I went to my local quilt shop, Bella Quilts, and picked up a other things since they were offering a discount.

And since I was close to a yarn shop that was also having a SBS discount, I stopped there as well. Since I started knitting another pair of socks on Thanksgiving, I was reminded of how much I like knitting and I want to keep at it. My sock is looking pretty fantastic, by the way! I couldn't put it down on Friday and the sock is just over 6" long now.

And since I was knitting so much on Friday, I didn't get around to starting the Easy Street mystery yet so there will be more fabric busted when I get to that. :)

Fabric added this week: 3.50
Fabric added YTD: 122.02

Fabric used this week: 5.69
Fabric used YTD: 134.18

Net Fabric Used: 12.16

Trying to find a puppy picture that I haven't shared yet. I need to take more of them!

Good to know I am not the only who has not started 'Easy Street' yet!! Actually, I just printed off the first step now!!! And, when will I get to it - that is alot of 4 patches to make!!! But I am up for it, and it will be done before step 2 shows up!! That is all I know!!

And your puppies pictures could be shown again!! They are so cute, it would not bother me to see them again!!!!

And are you not doing the Scrap Squad again next year?? I hope this last project works out well for you with no problems and you enjoy every minute of it!!!!!

And if it does give you issues, then pick up those knitting needles and let it know who's boss!! And relax.......
Have a great Sunday and a super week!!! ~Brenda!!

I think I am going to do Easy Street on a time delay - probably early January... I have started on my custom quilt for my neighbor so need to be sure that gets done before ANYTHING else. The pieces are big - so it should go together fairly quickly.

Was Raven there? I miss her. Such a sweet lady. I can't wait to see your scrap squad quilt. It's going to be hard to top that last one. It was such a winner on so many levels.

I quilt shopped too on SBS. Bought me some wool to play with. Might have to visit the other local shop today.

I am liking the colors for that final scrap squad - I should have peeked the other night! Was great to see you and the pups were the highlight of the kids day!

I'm trying to figure out how those subcuts will go together with the picture of the fabrics you showed.

Where did you get the solid grey? I wish there were more grey TOTs!

The yarn will make some comfy socks!!!
