I was bad this week! But I got a really great deal!!! The Fat Quarter Shop has been having a different sale every day this month and I happened to see that their sale on Wednesday was for Glace by Moda fabric. It was 40% off! And I still hadn't gotten my backing for the Mystery Quilt BOM that I am doing. Hooray!! And I picked a cream tone on tone because it was such a great deal! In total, this was 9.5 yards.
After work on Wednesday, I stopped at the shop because I got a text that there was a Christmas present there for me. It was a gift certificate! Woo hoo!! This will definitely come in handy! :) So I picked up a couple of yards of the Girl Scout fabric to make a bag.
Fabric added this week: 11.50
Fabric added year-to-date: 352.75
Fabric used this week: 0.50
Fabric used year-to-date: 201.64
Net Fabric Used: -151.11
There is an inventory sale at the shop starting today. I will probably go just to see if there is anything that I need to add to my stash for next year. I have been thinking about my 2010 Goals and I feel that some neutral backgrounds are needed to help use up some of the scraps that I have acquired. As long as I can find some good deals, I'm all over that!
Since I had my camera out, I took a picture of the doxie pants that Pamela got me for Christmas. They are super cute and very soft! I love them!!!

LOVE your doxie pants! An online group I'm in calls them monkey pants, but doxie pants is much more appropriate in this case!
You did good this year, Jill! You busted over 200 yards and that's nothing to sneeze at! Here's wishing you a stash-busting New Year!
For your first year of stashbusting, you did good. My numbers were similar last year.
There's nothing wrong with buying fabric as long as you USE it!
The doxie pants are cute.
Good luck in 2010!
Happy New Year!
You did use a lot of fabric this year and there is nothing wrong with building up a stash, especially if you are filling in holes... at least, that's my story!

I love the cookie fabric, reminds me of the mint girl scout cookies lol.
The pants look so comfy!! I wish I could find some fabric with the Boston terriers all over it.
Glad you had a good Christmas!!!
Love the pants! Stocking up on backgrounds/blenders is an awesome idea - that is where I am thin, too.
You always need neutrals. And you can't bust stash if it doesn't go with anything you have. So adding fabric is necessary!! I am going to reassess the stash after the first of the year and see if there is anything I need, and what I should be using up.
I want the GS fabric. I have a multi-level troop (24 girls ages 5-11) and it would be so much fun to do something with that fabric.
