Not much cutting of new fabric happened this week. And no new purchases.
I have been working on the 4 patches for the Doodlebugs quilt. This is a UFO and the fabric was cut before I started doing stash reports. I usually count my fabric when I cut it, but since this wasn't counted then, I am wondering if I can report it when the quilt is finished... Thoughts?
I also have been working on the second Scrap Squad quilt. Nothing new to report for that quilt either. When I get to the borders, there will be more busts to report, but that might not be this week either.
Fabric added this week: 0.00
Fabric added YTD: 11.17
Fabric used this week: 0.00
Fabric used YTD: 36.91
Net Fabric Used: 25.74
Still a pretty good report!
And the pups have been happily relaxing in their bed.

Jill, definitely you can count all those pre-cut 4 patches when the top is completed. When I do string quilts I count yardage by the square inches of the top. It is usually less than the actual fabric used to piece, but at least it is stash busted. I love your little Doodle bug quilt and look forward to seeing it completed.
I agree - count them! The pups look happy to be home :)
You count them wherever you'd like! (and maybe slip up and count them twice...)
I agree. Count them whenever you want. If you're using it, you're using it.
