Monthly Accomplishments - September 2012

Another great month, I think!! Well, maybe just a good month. I know that so far in October, I have already accomplished a lot, so maybe September was just a good month.
  1. Block 12 from the 2009 Mystery BOM
  2. Midget blocks - 47, 48, 49, 50
  3. Finished the Scrap Squad #4 which included cutting fabric, making blocks, paper piecing, assembling the quilt, adding borders and making the backing
  4. Had some dental work done
  5. Paris in the Fall BOM blocks - set 1; set 2
  6. Made a table runner
  7. Worked on Moon Pie as a leader/ender project
I know that doesn't look like a whole lot, but the Scrap Squad quilt took up a lot of time. There is a lot to deal with when doing paper piecing. And I basically pieced and assembled the entire quilt in the month.

Books read

  1. Crime Seen by Victoria Laurie
  2. Asta’s Book by Barbara Vine
  3. The Bone Vault by Linda Fairstein
  4. The Spellman Files by Lisa Lutz

Jill I think that looks like a lot because designing, cutting, sewing, etc an entire quilt IS a lot of work and time. Still can't wait to see the finished quilt compared to the one in the magazine.
